Women’s Christian Retreats USA
Twenty featured centers, from redwood forests to quiet cloisters, plus a state-by-state directory of more places to explore.
A retreat can begin with the warmth of a shared meal, the sound of women singing together, or the relief of closing a bedroom door and having nowhere else to be. The setting matters, but so does the rhythm: a busy Bible-teaching weekend and an individually directed silent retreat ask different things of you.
This guide helps you picture the experience as well as plan it. Alongside each center’s Christian tradition, you’ll find practical details about sleeping arrangements, meals, the retreat format and booking. Some centers run dedicated women’s events; others welcome women for personal stays or church-organized retreats.

Choose the experience first
For conversation and shared teaching, look at dedicated women’s weekends. For quiet prayer with support, consider an individually directed stay. For your own church group, compare the rooms and meeting spaces, then confirm who provides the spiritual program. Christian tradition is shown with each profile, but the individual event’s leader and timetable still matter.

California
Jesuit Retreat Center of Los Altos
300 Manresa Way, Los Altos, CA 94022

El Retiro, as this Jesuit center is affectionately known, occupies a 38-acre hillside above Los Altos. Benches face the Bay, valley and surrounding hills, while trails link the Stations of the Cross, a Rosary Walk and other shrines. It is an appealing setting for women who find that walking helps them settle into prayer.
The distinction between a directed retreat and a private retreat is especially clear here. Both make room for silence and reflection, but a directed stay includes a daily meeting with a spiritual director; a private stay leaves the structure to you. The minimum is two nights, with longer arrangements available for the Spiritual Exercises. Rooms have their own bathrooms, a writing table and a Bible. The conference spaces also suit a women’s group bringing its own program, with different rooms for a small circle or a larger presentation.
- Bedrooms
- 84 bedrooms with private bathrooms, writing tables and Bibles; single and double options.
- Length of stay
- Directed and private retreats have a two-night minimum.
- Spiritual direction
- A directed retreat includes a daily meeting; a private retreat does not.
- Group capacity
- Meeting rooms range from approximately 30 to 100 seats in theatre-style layouts.

Mount Hermon
37 Conference Dr, Felton, CA 95018
A women’s weekend that combines biblical teaching with the option of outdoor activity.

Mount Hermon gives a women’s weekend a distinctly Californian setting: tall redwoods, forest paths and the possibility of an adventure activity between shared sessions. The official photographs show both sides of the experience—quiet walking beneath the trees and women taking part in a harnessed outdoor challenge.
Its women’s retreat program combines biblical teaching, worship and opportunities to spend time together, with recreation available according to the event and conditions. The accommodation choice makes a tangible difference. Standard and Deluxe lodges have private bathrooms, while Economy rooms have a sink with shared showers and restrooms down the hall. These practical differences matter. Choose the category that supports your rest, then decide whether your free time belongs on an activity course, around a table with friends or on a forest walk.
- Bathrooms
- Standard/Deluxe: private. Economy: sink with shared hallway showers/restrooms.
- Linens
- Sheets and towels included in listed lodge categories.
- Without lodging
- Program-and-meals-only option for some women’s weekends.
- Booking
- Rates depend on event, occupancy and room category.

Serra Retreat
3401 Serra Rd, Malibu, CA 90265

At Serra, the ocean is part of the setting for prayer. The chapel and dining room look toward the Pacific, while garden paths and benches provide places to sit between sessions. Above Malibu on a 26-acre knoll, the retreat also takes in the Santa Monica Mountains. This is a Catholic, Franciscan setting where a women’s weekend can combine communal worship with time alone outdoors.
The sponsored retreat program includes liturgies, conferences, spiritual direction, Mass and confession, with English- and Spanish-language options. Women who prefer their own pace can request a personal retreat instead. For a church group, the facility choices extend from small meeting rooms to spaces for a much larger gathering. Decide first whether you want to join Serra’s spiritual program or bring your own leader: both routes use the same distinctive coastal setting.
- Bedrooms
- 60 furnished bedrooms; total overnight capacity up to 120.
- Gathering spaces
- Chapel seats 120; the Serra Room accommodates 35–120 and Rindge Room 25–35.
- Personal stays
- Request an individual retreat at least three weeks ahead.
- Connectivity
- Complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the buildings.

Colorado
Mother Cabrini Shrine
20189 Cabrini Blvd, Golden, CO 80401
A personal Catholic retreat with a choice of a private room or a small hermitage.

Mother Cabrini Shrine began as a place of refuge: in 1912, Mother Cabrini envisioned this property as a summer home for girls from Denver’s Queen of Heaven Orphanage. A personal retreat combines that history with prayer gardens and views toward the Sacred Heart statue.
The individual-retreat options are more intimate than a large conference weekend. A room in the main building provides a private bedroom and bathroom, with a shared lounge for a cup of tea. The hermitage adds its own living area, kitchenette and reflection room, with separate space for quiet reflection. The famous ascent to the statue involves 373 steps, but it is only one way to use the grounds. Four prayer gardens offer a different focus for a day spent reading, walking gently and praying.
- Private rooms
- Single occupancy, private bathroom, shared lounge.
- Hermitage
- Overnight occupancy 1–3; bathroom, kitchenette and reflection room.
- Published cost
- $125 per guest/night including three meals. Checked November 2026.
- Lead time
- Request reservations at least two weeks ahead.

Georgia
Heritage
979 Locust Grove Rd SE, Crawfordville, GA 30631
A women’s church group wanting comfortable rooms and room to shape its own program.

Heritage gives a women’s retreat room to move between conversation and quiet. A boardwalk passes through woodland, the courtyard has space to sit outside, and Georgia’s early Catholic history gives the grounds a sense of place. The nearby Church of the Purification and Locust Grove Cemetery connect a contemporary retreat with the story of the state’s first Catholic community.
The women’s group offering is especially useful for organizers who want the essentials handled while keeping responsibility for their own teaching and worship. Bedrooms have private bathrooms and simple kitchen conveniences; shared meals and meeting space bring the group back together. For your own prayer time, explore a self-directed stay; for a women’s ministry weekend, discuss a private group booking. For an individual visit, the visitor guide also explains day visits and overnight stays.
- Sleeping
- 30 private-room guests; up to 52 with shared rooms, or 72 when sharing queen/king beds.
- In the room
- Private bathroom, mini refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, linens and bath amenities.
- Meals
- Overnight group packages include meals; breakfast is continental-style, lunch and dinner buffet-style.
- Setting
- 200 acres near Crawfordville, approximately two hours east of Atlanta off I-20.

Ignatius House
6700 Riverside Dr, Sandy Springs, GA 30328

A river, creeks and a waterfall give the walking routes at Ignatius House their own gentle rhythm. The 20-acre setting near Atlanta offers space to move between a talk, a journal and a quiet stretch outdoors. The Jesuit approach is rooted in Ignatian prayer, and silence is a central part of most guided retreats rather than an occasional activity.
On a guided stay, a retreat director’s presentations help orient your personal prayer. Most include daily Mass, optional Reconciliation and a brief individual conversation with the director. Overnight programs include accommodation and meals; a day of reflection offers a shorter introduction with lunch. Women can choose a relevant theme or a program for a particular group. The private-bath bedrooms and access provisions make this a useful option when you want solitude alongside the support of an established retreat team.
- Bedrooms
- 50 guest rooms with private bathrooms; mobility-accessible rooms available.
- Meals
- Breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets included in group package pricing; guided overnight retreats include meals.
- Walking
- 1.5 miles of trails, plus garden seating and decks beside the water.
- Group facilities
- Two conference rooms, a library and up to seven breakout spaces; complimentary Wi-Fi.

Louisiana
Grand Coteau Retreats — Our Lady of the Oaks campus
214 Church St, Grand Coteau, LA 70541

Our Lady of the Oaks has a Spanish Mission-style setting, with a long approach shaded by mature trees and covered galleries furnished for sitting. It belongs to Grand Coteau Retreats, the Catholic Jesuit ministry that also includes St. Charles College. The two campuses together occupy more than 200 acres, so confirm which campus appears on your reservation.
A silent preached retreat alternates a retreat master’s talks with time for personal prayer. That structure can help a first-time retreatant who wants quiet without having to invent every part of the day. The program provides daily Mass, opportunities for confession and Eucharistic Adoration, plus time to explore the grounds or meet a priest individually. Women’s preached retreats have their own booking page. This is a particularly clear Catholic and Ignatian choice, with sacramental life woven into the experience rather than added as an optional excursion.
- Retreat style
- Three-day Ignatian preached retreats are part of the Oaks tradition.
- Daily rhythm
- Talks followed by individual prayer, daily Mass, confession and Eucharistic Adoration.
- Meals
- Three meals daily during preached retreats, with snacks also available.
- Campus choice
- The ministry operates Our Lady of the Oaks and St. Charles College; check the assigned campus.

Maryland
Bon Secours Retreat & Conference Center
1525 Marriottsville Rd, Marriottsville, MD 21104

Bon Secours makes room for a retreat with very little on the timetable. A private reservation includes your own bedroom, bathroom and meals, while leaving the spiritual structure to you. You might spend the morning in the chapel or lending library, then take a walk to the pond, prayer labyrinth or Japanese-style Peace Garden.
The Catholic center is a ministry of the Sisters of Bon Secours and welcomes a wider retreat audience. Its 300-acre property offers outdoor space, while the guest-room specification is reassuringly practical: a queen bed, desk, private shower, opening window and individually controlled heating and air-conditioning. Spiritual direction is arranged separately, and Mass days vary. This is a useful choice for an individual woman who wants privacy and catered meals without joining a busy conference, or for someone adding a quiet day before or after a scheduled program.
- Bedrooms
- 70 private rooms with queen beds and private bathrooms with showers.
- Meals
- Private stays include dinner on arrival day through lunch on departure day.
- Comfort and access
- Individual heating/air-conditioning, Wi-Fi and elevator access; six rooms have adapted bathroom stalls.
- Guidance
- Private bookings do not include structured programming; arrange spiritual direction in advance.

Michigan
Camp Barakel
1798 Shear Lake Rd, Fairview, MI 48621
Women who enjoy camp community, Bible teaching and a northern Michigan woodland setting.

Shear Lake and northern Michigan woodland give Barakel’s ladies’ retreats a classic camp setting. There is space for lively company and outdoor activity, but the chapel remains central to the weekend: Bible teaching is a planned part of the gathering, rather than an optional extra around a leisure break.
The ladies’ retreat information welcomes women arriving alone as well as with friends, from high-school senior age upward. It also supplies unusually useful arrival advice. Friday begins with check-in and activities, followed by hearty evening snacks rather than a full supper. Bring your own bedding for a twin-sized bunk, a pillow and towel, plus layers suitable for the outdoors. This is a camp-style weekend with shared rhythms and a clear evangelical focus, best approached with comfortable shoes and a willingness to join the chapel sessions.
- Arrival
- Friday check-in begins 4 p.m.; call if arriving after 9 p.m.
- Friday food
- No Friday supper; substantial snacks are served at 8 p.m.
- Bring
- Twin-bunk bedding, pillow, towel, Bible, notebook and outdoor layers.
- Departure
- The weekend finishes with an early Sunday lunch at 11:30 a.m.

Manresa Jesuit Retreat House
1390 Quarton Rd, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48304
Women who want silence with clear guidance and a private bedroom.

Manresa’s garden paths and footbridges offer a change of pace within metropolitan Detroit. The retreat itself is intentionally quiet: guests ordinarily keep silence with one another, allowing talks, Scripture and personal prayer to set the rhythm. A conference weekend includes short presentations inspired by the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, with Mass and optional forms of prayer woven through the day.
That structure can make a first silent retreat feel more approachable than an entirely unplanned stay. The conference-retreat guide explains what happens hour by hour, while the individually directed option provides daily accompaniment over a longer stay. The latter has a minimum of four full consecutive days, giving the silence time to become familiar. Women’s weekends appear in the calendar; choose a women’s date if that community matters to you.
- Bedroom and bathroom
- Private bedroom with half-bath; private shower stalls in shared shower rooms.
- Included comforts
- Towels, bed linens and blankets supplied; buildings have heating and air-conditioning.
- Weekend rhythm
- Friday dinner at 6:30 p.m.; departure shortly before 1 p.m. Sunday.
- Contribution
- Published weekend cost guide: $325, with a $50 non-refundable deposit; contributions reflect ability to pay. Checked November 2026.

Missouri
Conception Abbey
37174 State Hwy VV, Conception, MO 64433
A structured women’s silent weekend shaped by Benedictine prayer.

At Conception Abbey, the monastery’s daily prayer gives a women’s retreat its center of gravity. The Encountering Christ weekends invite guests to step away from technology, keep silence and join the Benedictine community for the Divine Office and Mass. Four conferences led by a monk provide a thread to follow between periods of personal prayer.
There is also time for lectio divina: a slow, prayerful reading of Scripture that asks for attention rather than an academic answer. Eucharistic adoration and reconciliation are part of the published program. This is a useful option if you want a clearly Catholic retreat with a defined beginning and ending, rather than a venue where you need to invent the spiritual program yourself. The package includes a private room and meals, leaving practical space for the quieter work of listening, reading and resting.
- Package
- $250: private room, meals, linens, towels and director fee. Checked November 2026.
- Timing
- Friday arrival 3–5 p.m.; Sunday-afternoon departure.
- Dietary needs
- No individual meals; allergen cross-contamination cannot be excluded.
- Register
- Check the deadline for your chosen weekend.

Nevada
Zephyr Point
660 US-50, Zephyr Cove, NV 89448

At Zephyr Point, Lake Tahoe provides the backdrop for gathering and reflection. The Presbyterian conference center offers several quite different ways to stay: hotel-style group rooms, lakeside cabins and dormitory accommodation. That choice lets a women’s church group shape the atmosphere, from a catered conference to a smaller gathering around a cabin’s own kitchen.
The lodging is television-free, with Wi-Fi available when needed. Independent cabin guests book differently from people attending an organized retreat: event participants must reserve through their group or event, so a cabin booking does not enroll you in a women’s program. The cabin policies are worth reading closely. Kitchens and linens are supplied, but beds are not made up in advance; summer bookings usually follow a weekly pattern. The combination suits women who want Christian fellowship with room for self-directed time beside the lake.
- Cabin stays
- Normally two nights minimum; peak summer generally requires Saturday-to-Saturday week bookings.
- Kitchen and bedding
- Full kitchens, bedding and towels supplied; guests make their own beds.
- Group booking
- People attending a group event must arrange lodging through that organizer.
- Lodging formats
- Hotel-style rooms, equipped cabins or dormitories; television-free with Wi-Fi.

New Hampshire
Camp Berea
68 Berea Rd, Hebron, NH 03241
A sociable women’s event with worship, lake-country surroundings and optional camp activities.

Berea’s women’s weekends make room for both a chapel gathering and a slower moment by Newfound Lake. Morning and evening sessions bring worship and biblical teaching; the time between them can include topical seminars, creative activities or outdoor recreation. The program is planned, while the activities remain optional.
The women’s retreat page is particularly clear about sleeping arrangements. Most guests share cabin-style accommodation with an inside bathroom; private rooms exist but are limited. That makes the experience naturally sociable, whether you arrive with a church group or on your own. Groups can request block housing, while individuals still register separately. If the camp program appeals more than communal sleeping, a retreat-only ticket includes sessions, activities and meals while you arrange somewhere else to stay. Compare this with a private retreat house when deciding how much company you want.
- Included
- Two nights, Friday dinner–Sunday breakfast, sessions and activities.
- Sleeping
- Cabins up to 12 women; inside bathrooms. Bring bedding. Limited private rooms.
- Published prices
- From $280 with accommodation; retreat-only $145. Checked November 2026.
- Timing
- Friday 5 p.m. check-in; finish by 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

New Mexico
Holy Cross Retreat Center
600 Holy Cross Rd, Mesilla Park, NM 88047
A personal retreat with desert solitude and a small self-contained living space.

Holy Cross’s hermitages make the desert setting part of a personal retreat. The Organ Mountains provide the wider view, while the two small lodgings express a Franciscan attention to the natural world: Brother Fire has a fire pit beside its porch, and Sister Water has a fountain that attracts birds and animals.
The hermitage option suits a woman who wants to shape her own days around prayer, writing, reading or quiet reflection. Each space has a private bathroom and kitchenette, so the stay can feel more independent than a bedroom off a shared corridor. Guests may also join the center’s programs and services when appropriate. This is a general personal-retreat offering with Catholic Franciscan hospitality and room to be alone. Discuss meals and any spiritual accompaniment as part of the reservation.
- Accommodation
- Bed, private bathroom and small kitchenette.
- Setting
- Brother Fire: porch-side fire pit. Sister Water: fountain.
- Format
- Individuals or occasional couples; center programs available.
- Booking
- Discuss dates, meals and spiritual support directly.

North Carolina
Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove
1 Porters Cove Rd, Asheville, NC 28805
Women who want substantial Bible teaching with comfortable lodging in a mountain setting.

The Cove’s setting is part of the appeal: woodland trails, streams and a mountain overlook spread across a 1,200-acre property outside Asheville. Chatlos Chapel sits among the trees, while the dining room’s tall windows bring the surrounding landscape into view. It is a place where a teaching session can be followed by a walk, a quiet seat or an unhurried conversation over coffee.
The ministry is explicitly evangelical, with women’s events and personal spiritual retreats among its program formats. Its emphasis is on biblical teaching and worship, rather than a monastery’s pattern of silence. Guest rooms have two queen beds and no television; some suites have fireplaces and decks. Read the specific event description to see how much time is scheduled and what remains free, especially if you are choosing between a women’s conference and a more individual stay.
- Rooms
- Two queen beds per standard guest room; maximum four guests per room or five per suite.
- Package choice
- Complete packages combine lodging, meals and materials; seminar-only participation has separate arrangements.
- Access
- Accessible rooms and auditorium seating can be requested with the reservation team.
- Audience
- Most programs are 18+; ages 15–17 generally need a parent or guardian. No childcare is provided.

Lutheridge
2511 Hendersonville Rd, Arden, NC 28704
Women who want Lutheran-rooted worship, creativity and an easy-going camp community.

Lutheridge’s Wild Women Weekend brings together Bible study, worship and the pleasure of being away with other women. Its Lutheran roots are clear, but participants do not need to belong to a Lutheran church. A single room, a shared room or a commuter place gives several ways to take part without assuming everyone wants the same amount of company.
The wider campus has a wooded, lakeside character, with an open-air chapel beneath the trees and gathering spaces for groups of different sizes. If you are organizing your own women’s retreat, the group-rental guide helps separate lodging, meeting rooms and meals. The newer Hill Cabins have proper bedrooms and full kitchens, an attractive alternative to bunk accommodation for an independent group. A public women’s weekend uses its own room allocation, so do not assume a particular cabin is included.
- Women’s weekend
- Single, double-room and commuter registration options.
- 2027 rates
- Double-room tiers $285–$385; single-room tiers $350–$450. Same experience at each voluntary pricing tier.
- Own-group cabins
- Hill Cabins sleep 10, with five bedrooms, three full bathrooms, full kitchen, heat and air-conditioning.
- Dietary needs
- Most listed special diets can be accommodated by arrangement; discuss requirements when booking.
The Wilds
1000 Wilds Ridge Rd, Brevard, NC 28712

For women who would rather alternate Bible teaching with a waterfall walk, The Wilds offers a very different rhythm from a silent retreat house. Its Ladies’ Retreat lasts just over 24 hours, from Friday supper to Saturday supper. Between sessions, participants can spend time in the coffee shop or Craft Shop, or head outside toward the waterfalls and other recreation.
The experience is social and explicitly Bible-centered, with shared accommodation and a program for women aged 16 and older. Room choice matters as much as the activity list. The Lodge and Inn provide hotel-style rooms with private bathrooms and linens; the more rustic duplex cabins require guests to bring bedding. The center also makes an unusually important dining point: meals are included, but it does not offer alternative menus for dietary restrictions, so guests with specific needs should review the available food-storage and reheating arrangements before registering.
- Audience and timing
- Women aged 16 and older; Friday evening through Saturday after supper.
- Room sharing
- All accommodations on the Ladies’ Retreat are multiple occupancy.
- Lodging choice
- Lodge rooms sleep up to six; most Inn rooms up to four; both have private bathrooms and linens.
- Dietary needs
- Meals included; no alternative dietary menus. Refrigerator, freezer and reheating equipment are available.

Pennsylvania
Malvern Retreat House
315 S Warren Ave, Malvern, PA 19355

Malvern’s traditional women’s retreats offer a defined Catholic rhythm: talks and Eucharistic liturgies, opportunities for Reconciliation and private Adoration, and quiet time between them. Optional Saturday discussions add a more conversational element. Solo newcomers are welcome, with an introductory orientation for first-time participants on traditional retreats.
The accommodation deserves a closer look before you choose a weekend. Historic halls offer simple single rooms with a bed, sink and writing space; the Family Life Center has a different layout, with private bathrooms and air-conditioning. That difference can matter on a summer stay. Meals are served on site, and paved woodland paths provide places to walk between sessions. Malvern also offers themed women’s events, whose schedules may differ from the traditional Friday-to-Sunday pattern. It is a good fit for someone who appreciates a settled program and the company of an established retreat community.
- Traditional weekend
- Friday check-in from 5 p.m.; closes with Sunday Mass at 11 a.m.
- Room choice
- Historic halls have simple single rooms; Family Life Center has 50 double-occupancy rooms with private bathrooms.
- Air-conditioning
- Family Life Center bedrooms have air-conditioning; the main historic hall bedrooms generally do not.
- Access and packing
- Accessible rooms available; linens and towels supplied; advise dietary requirements during registration.

Texas
Holy Name Passionist Retreat Center
430 Bunker Hill Rd, Houston, TX 77024
A shaded courtyard, fountains and benches make Holy Name feel set apart from the city around it. The ten-acre Houston property is run by the Passionists, a Catholic congregation whose spirituality centers on the Passion of Jesus. Its women’s weekends bring that tradition into shared prayer, talks and fellowship, with separate dates for women, men and mixed groups on the current calendar.
The campus layout gives guests several ways to spend unscheduled time: two chapels, a library, a labyrinth and outdoor Stations of the Cross. The bedroom categories also make a practical difference. Most have private bathrooms, while the smaller Casa accommodation uses shared bathrooms and a communal kitchen. For a women’s ministry organizing its own retreat, three meeting halls and full dining service allow teaching, prayer and meals to stay together on one campus.
- Sleeping arrangements
- 79 rooms: 30 queen rooms and 43 twin rooms have private bathrooms; Casa’s six rooms share bathrooms.
- Access
- The center identifies three adapted rooms among the queen and twin categories.
- Meeting and dining
- Three audiovisual-equipped halls for groups of 10–120; dining room seats 96.
- Prayer spaces
- Two chapels, lighted Stations of the Cross and a labyrinth.

Virginia
Williamsburg Christian Retreat Center
9275 Barnes Rd, Toano, VA 23168

A women’s retreat here can feel like a small gathering in a cottage or a much larger church weekend. The 300-acre wooded property on Virginia’s Tidewater Peninsula has trails, open fields and indoor meeting spaces, giving organizers room to combine Bible study and worship with shared meals and outdoor time. WCRC’s women’s retreat service helps groups plan the practical arrangements while their own leaders shape the spiritual program.
The accommodation choices make the experience especially adaptable. Oakwood Lodge offers hotel-style bedrooms, while Holly Cottage brings a smaller group together around its own meeting area and kitchen. A cabin village provides another option for groups happy with bunk-style sleeping. Food service is available, or some accommodation permits self-catering. This is a venue for planning your own women’s retreat rather than a promise that a public women’s event runs every weekend.
- Hotel-style option
- Oakwood Lodge: 24 private-bath rooms, with linens and towels; rooms have no televisions or phones.
- Small-group cottage
- Holly Cottage sleeps up to 20 in six private-bath bedrooms, with a full kitchen and gathering space.
- Weekend minimum
- Holly Cottage does not accept one-night reservations on Fridays or Saturdays.
- Arrival and departure
- Published lodging check-in is 4 p.m.; check-out is 11 a.m.

The details that change a retreat experience
A bedroom is only part of the room description
Check whether “private” means the bedroom alone or the bathroom too. At Manresa, for example, a private half-bath accompanies the bedroom while showers are shared. Camp-style accommodation may require your own bedding; hotel-style packages may include it. Ask which exact room category your price reserves, particularly when a center offers several buildings.
Choose a daily rhythm
A preached retreat offers talks and communal prayer with time between sessions. An individually directed retreat usually includes personal meetings with a spiritual director. A women’s conference may place more emphasis on teaching, singing and conversation. Read the timetable before choosing: silence, free time and group activities affect the experience as much as the setting.
Compare the complete cost
Look at the full stay, including accommodation, meals, program fees, taxes and travel. Check single-room supplements and the first included meal. The dated price examples in the profiles are useful comparisons, but the provider’s current quote determines what you will pay. A group venue may also set minimum numbers and require your organizer to supply the teaching and pastoral care.
Ask about access in practical terms
Give the booking team your particular requirements. Confirm the route between your bedroom, dining room and worship space, as well as bathroom access and the terrain of outdoor paths. Check dietary arrangements, arrival times and cancellation terms before committing. A women’s event may share a campus with other guests, so ask about exclusive use if that matters to your group.
Optional reading and a retreat journal
For personal reading and prayer notes, these two items may be useful. Follow any reading guidance from your retreat leader and bring books or a notebook you already own where they suit your stay.

A first retreat can be a small step
You do not have to choose a long stay to begin. A quiet day or a weekend can introduce you to a new form of prayer, while a programmed women’s event can offer a natural way to meet people when traveling alone. Start with the kind of attention you want to give to God, then choose a place and format that support it.
