Looking for yoga festivals in the UK in 2027? Whether you want to explore meditation, spend a weekend practising yoga or combine movement with music and workshops, these six events offer different ways to plan a wellbeing break.

Choosing the right event starts with deciding what you want from the experience. Some put yoga and its wider traditions at the centre of the programme. Others bring it together with fitness, live music, spiritual practices or time outdoors.

Start with the experience

Choose World Yoga Festival for a programme centred on yoga, Buddhafield for meditation and community, Wellnergy for movement and music, VERVE for a countryside wellbeing break, Mind Body Spirit London for a wider range of spiritual interests, or Into the Wild for yoga within an outdoor festival of music, crafts and nature.

Six festivals. Different ways to spend your days.

All six have announced 2027 dates, with a date discrepancy to check for Into the Wild. Detailed programmes are still developing, so choose by the event’s overall focus first, then check its new timetable before booking around a particular teacher or session.

The shortlist

World Yoga Festival

Henley Showground, Henley-on-Thames

World Yoga Festival is a strong starting point if yoga is your main reason for attending. Its scope includes posture classes from different traditions, pranayama, meditation, Ayurveda, philosophy, chanting and evening music.

That range makes it worth considering if you enjoy physical practice but also want to understand the ideas and traditions behind it. You can build a visit around learning as well as movement.

The organisers explicitly welcome beginners. The festival is vegetarian and alcohol-free, which is useful when comparing its atmosphere with broader music and wellbeing events.

Keep in mind: The detailed 2027 timetable is still to come. Check the new programme for individual teachers and sessions.

Buddhafield Festival

Culmhead, near Taunton, Somerset

Buddhafield brings together meditation, yoga, Buddhist teachings, music, dancing, crafts and play. Founded on Buddhist values, it welcomes people of different beliefs, so you do not need to identify as Buddhist to attend.

The five-day format gives you time to settle into a festival community. Its 2027 theme is The Heart of the Lotus, with the full programme due closer to the event.

Keep in mind: There are no day or weekend tickets. Campers bring their own tents rather than booking organiser-provided glamping. Alcohol and recreational drugs are prohibited, and food sold by the festival cafés is vegan.

Dates:
14–18 July 2027

Wellnergy Festival

Wimbledon Park, London

Wellnergy is worth considering if your interests extend across several areas of wellbeing. Its advertised mix includes yoga, fitness, breathwork, sound healing, music, talks and workshops.

It is a useful option for friends with different interests. One person might prioritise yoga, while another is more interested in workouts, speakers or music.

The official 2027 ticket listing offers single-day tickets and weekend passes. That flexibility is helpful if you want to sample a wellbeing festival before committing to a longer visit.

Keep in mind: Choose your day once the detailed schedule is available, particularly if there is a specific activity or speaker you want to see.

VERVE Festival

Larmer Tree Gardens, Dorset–Wiltshire border

VERVE combines its countryside setting with a programme spanning yoga, meditation, breathwork, movement, sound baths, talks and workshops. It is an appealing candidate if the setting matters as much to you as the timetable.

Camping, glamping and van pitches are offered at additional cost. When comparing tickets, check accommodation separately, along with food, drinks and any specialist activities or treatments you want to add.

Keep in mind: The full 2027 programme is due early in the year. Existing performer listings are labelled 2026, so use them as background rather than a confirmed line-up for your visit.

Mind Body Spirit London

Olympia London

Mind Body Spirit’s London edition brings an indoor option to this selection of UK yoga and wellbeing festivals. The organiser has confirmed its return to Olympia for 28–31 May 2027.

Its previous festival material combines presenters, workshops, spiritual practices and a marketplace. It is worth exploring if your interests reach beyond yoga into the wider wellbeing and spirituality scene.

Keep in mind: The London website still features material from the previous edition. Wait for the 2027 programme before expecting particular presenters or sessions.

Mind Body Spirit also runs a Birmingham festival, but its currently published Birmingham dates are 13–15 November 2026. That edition is not included in this 2027 calendar.

Into the Wild Festival

Chiddinglye Farm, West Hoathly, West Sussex

Into the Wild brings yoga into a wider outdoor celebration of nature, music and creativity. Its 2027 ticket page describes yoga, dance, family activities and more than 200 workshops; the main website also highlights wild crafts, foraging, a wild spa and sauna.

Consider it if you want to practise yoga while leaving plenty of time for music, making things and exploring the outdoors. The mix gives families and friends with different interests more ways to spend their days together.

Date note: The festival homepage advertises 26–30 August 2027, while its linked ticket listing gives 27–29 August and mentions Thursday early entry separately. Confirm the exact arrival and departure arrangements with the organiser before booking travel.

Keep in mind: The organiser says the 2027 gathering will take a new form. A detailed yoga timetable has not yet been published, so check the new programme before choosing particular classes.

Looking ahead to 2028

Medicine Festival returns in 2028.

17–21 August 2028 · No festival in 2027

A gathering for connection.

Medicine belongs in the wider wellbeing conversation: its alcohol-free gathering brings together music, ceremony, community and connection with nature, with Indigenous wisdom and regeneration central to its approach.

There is no Medicine Festival in 2027. The organisers have moved to a two-year cycle, and the official website lists the next festival for 17–21 August 2028. It is included here as an option to keep in mind for a future year.

Check the 2028 programme and venue information when planning your visit. Earlier films and activity pages offer a sense of the gathering, rather than a confirmed future timetable.

A little preparation

Plan the visit you actually want.

Start with the part of the programme you would most regret missing. Then compare the practical details, including how much of your time you want to spend in scheduled sessions and how much you want to leave open.

  • Time: Decide whether you want a single day or a longer stay.
  • Accommodation: Check camping, glamping or nearby rooms before calculating your budget.
  • Ticket inclusions: Look for separate charges for parking, treatments and specialist sessions.
  • Access: Read the venue’s access information and contact the organiser about specific requirements.
  • Programme: Check whether your chosen classes need advance booking or operate on a first-come basis.

What to pack for a yoga festival.

Comfortable clothes, a reusable water bottle and a yoga mat are sensible starting points, subject to the organiser’s guidance. For outdoor events, add waterproof layers, suitable footwear, sun protection and something warm for the evening. A small blanket can be useful during seated sessions or relaxation practices.

Check what is provided before packing equipment or booking accommodation. A camping pitch and a furnished glamping tent involve very different preparations.

Before you book

Your questions, answered.

Can beginners attend UK yoga festivals?

Yes, although it helps to check the class descriptions rather than assume every session will suit a newcomer. World Yoga Festival explicitly states that previous yoga experience is not required and that teachers support beginners.

Can I attend a wellbeing festival for one day?

Some events offer that option. Wellnergy’s 2027 tickets include single-day options. Buddhafield states that it does not sell day or weekend tickets. Check the ticket format before planning your trip.

Are wellbeing festivals alcohol-free?

Policies differ. World Yoga Festival and Buddhafield prohibit alcohol, while VERVE permits alcohol sales. Choose an event whose approach fits the experience you want, and read its current visitor guidance before travelling.

Is Medicine Festival happening in 2027?

No. Medicine has announced a two-year festival cycle and confirms there is no festival in 2027. Its next dates are 17–21 August 2028. See the separate Medicine section and the organiser’s announcement before planning a trip.

Are the full 2027 programmes available?

Several festivals have confirmed dates while still developing their programmes. Check that any timetable, presenter list or workshop description is specifically for 2027, especially before booking around a particular teacher or activity.

What should I check in the total price?

Compare admission, accommodation, travel, food, parking and any separately charged activities. Check the cancellation and transfer terms as well as the headline ticket price.

Make room for what you enjoy

Begin with your kind of day.

It might be a morning of yoga, a meditation session, a conversation after a workshop or an evening of music. Choose the festival that offers more of what you want, then confirm the practical details directly with the organiser.
