Description of the Retreat

The Call of the Wild

You’re walking on a pristine red dirt trail surrounded by juniper trees while the sun gently warms your bare shoulders.

The smell of sage fills your senses and you feel it in your soul that you are somewhere special, although you can’t pinpoint what exactly it is.

Is it the wide open blue sky above you?

Is it the richness of the red dirt that surrounds you?

Or the synchronistic hawks and lizards that accompany you on your trek? You know it’s not any of these things alone.

Even as you’re walking alone, your spirit revels and swells inside you with the gentle reminder that You are always with you.

As you continue your climb up a gently rising slope, the top of the trail is mere steps away as it hits the horizon and you can feel the impending presence of something so grand and so deeply awe inspiring coming into your mind’s eye.

Yes, the magic of Sedona has caught you.

Your breath catches in your chest as you reach the apex of your trek.

Your hand lifts to cover your heart.

Your eyes can’t believe the vastness of the monuments that called to you in the whispers in your dreams now sprawl out before you.

The wind gently blows in your face as you realize you’re amongst the giants of legends, far away from the crowds that clog the heartbeat of the city.

You are here, in the real Sedona.

With your hand on your heart and the sun on your forehead, you feel Home swelling in your heart, where it has been waiting for you all along.

You are Home.

Joseph Greywolf

Greywolf is a curator of the sacred. An adventurer, creator and orator, Greywolf's free spirit has been facilitating ceremonies and sacred excursions for countless groups in Sedona for over 20 years.

Jon Kohrs

Facilities

Sky Rock Sedona

Our basecamp for all of our retreats is Sky Rock. Sky Rock offers a place to connect in the mornings and in the evenings. All accommodations and meals are included in the single retreat price, except for breakfasts. Guests are encouraged to bring snacks and extra water for our adventures.

Perched on a hilltop amid breathtaking red rocks, Sky Rock offers an immersive stay set against striking, panoramic views of the vibrant desert landscape. A recently renovated boutique hotel, it features 109 beautifully designed guest rooms, a year-round outdoor heated swimming pool and hot tub, communal terraces with fire pits, concierge service and spectacular views of the region’s signature red rocks.

While our facilitators offer healing and other energy services, Sky Rock also offers a spa and other wellness services that can be purchased a la carte to supplement your retreat.

Timetable

A Week in the Wild

We structure the week to be out on the land the majority of the days. We schedule retreats during the week to avoid all the crowds, but follow the seasons and honor the Equinoxes while out on the land.  When you get in on the first night, we'll have a group dinner at 6pm and fireside conversation (at a private residence) about the week.

Suggested packing lists will be provided, and intention setting prompts to bring you into the space of oneness before the journey even begins.
