Days 1-2
We begin our retreat in Lisbon, where historic charm meets modern energy.
Plan to arrive at the Humberto Delgado International Airport by 2pm on 9/1/24for your transfer to our villa. Â If you came in early to enjoy the city, plan to meet us at our villa between 4-5pm on Sept. 1st. Â We'll spend the first night getting to know each other and going out on the town for a delicious Portuguese dining experience.
Day two will be spent sightseeing the city.  We'll be exploring the winding streets of Alfama, Lisbon's oldest district, adorned with colorful tiles and echoing with the soulful melodies of Fado music. We'll marvel at iconic landmarks such as the majestic São Jorge Castle and the stunning Belém Tower, each steeped in centuries of Portuguese history.
We will enjoy Lisbon's culinary delights as we sample freshly caught seafood at bustling markets and savor traditional pastéis de nata pastries in charming cafés. Get ready to immerse yourself in the local arts scene with visits to contemporary galleries and street art hotspots, where vibrant murals adorn every corner.
On Day 3 we will spend the morning in Lisbon before heading down the to Lagos, stopping along the way to see adorable town and historic sites.
Days 3-6
After soaking in the sights and sounds of Lisbon, we will journey south to the sun-kissed shores of the Algarve. We'll settle into our ocean view villa, where azure waters and golden sands beckon you to unwind and recharge.
Ready to embrace the thrill of surfing as expert instructors guide us through exhilarating lessons on the waves? Whether you're a beginner catching your first break or an experienced surfer seeking new challenges, the Algarve offers an array of surf spots to suit every skill level.
After an action-packed day on the water, we'll spend the following day indulging in the flavors of Portugal with wine tastings at local vineyards nestled amid rolling hills and vine-covered landscapes. We'll sample a variety of regional wines, from crisp Vinho Verde to robust Alentejo reds, as passionate vintners share the secrets of Portuguese winemaking traditions.
On our third full day in Lagos, we'll kayak through the coastline caves before spending the afternoon exploring the city. Â Gather at the villa for cocktails then we'll enjoy a meal on the town.
Day 7-8
We'll travel back up to Lisbon, stopping at new towns along the way. Â Once we arrive in Lisbon we'll celebrate one last evening together on the town before flying out the following morning.
In the evenings, we'll gather beneath the starlit sky, forging bonds of friendship that will last long after your retreat comes to an end.
