Welcome to Gratitude Vietnam, a welcoming, eco-friendly oasis of total relaxation, peace and tranquility.

With a pool, 8 ensuite bedrooms, meditation room, garden, and purpose-designed outdoor space sheltered from the elements, the villa is perfect for hosting healing retreats, or for accommodating large groups for a private holiday or event.

Our villa is a purpose-built space for private retreats, events and boutique holidays. As such, we can accommodate a wide variety of bookings.

With space and equipment for group yoga, creative activities, meditation and presentations, we can tailor your booking to your unique requirements. We can take care of every part of your journey, making sure everything is as you’d like it to be. Simply tell us what you need, and we’ll do the rest.

There’s plenty to do beyond the villa. We’d love to share our knowledge of the surrounding area with you. We can recommend places to visit and help customise your experience to suit to your group. All activities (whether cultural, active, exploratory or historical) will be led by an English-speaking guide, and include private transport.

Hoi An:

A former port city and important Southeast Asian trading centre dating from the 15th to 19th century, Hoi An’s stunning architecture reflects is fascinating history.

With its rich mix of eras and styles both indigenous and foreign, this UNESCO World Heritage Site boasts wooden Chinese shophouses and temples, colourful French colonial buildings, ornate Vietnamese tube houses, and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge with its pagoda.

The villa combines Vietnamese culture with western comforts to give you a relaxing, boutique home-from-home.

Vietnamese architects Cong and Phuong Nguyen designed the villa, transporting the late 19th century wooden columns and structure of an ancient building that belonged to a senior officer of the Nguyen Dynasty, over 120km from Hue. They then lovingly reconstructed the traditional wooden frame in its new home, before incorporating a modern twist to create a beautiful and unique space with eight ensuite bedrooms.

We strive to be zero-waste and plastic-free, and invite you to support us in reducing local environmental issues as we work towards a Gold Award with Travelife to benchmark our commitment.

Retreat Facilities:

Our stunning yoga sala measures 8.5m x 9.5m and comes complete with yoga mats, bolsters, blocks and straps. Speakers, fans and lighting are strategically located to balance the internal environment with the open air space, whatever the time of day.

Step out of the sala into the garden and walking meditation labyrinth, perfect for guided group activities or focused internal journeying.
Hammocks and seating are also carefully placed in secluded areas to allow space for reading and quiet moments of reflection.

The meditation space on the first floor of the villa provides an acoustically beautiful and alternative setting for more intimate workshops. A projector and screen are available, and can be used either here or in the yoga sala.

The Gratitude spa has a massage space with table, and a separate therapy room should you wish to run 1:1 sessions during your retreat. We are also able to arrange visiting masseurs and offer a variety of additional healing modalities to supplement your retreat should you wish.

The snug provides a cosy communal space with board games, library of wellness books and crafting activities. This space can be opened into the meditation room and sunset balcony to provide an open-plan environment when needed.

As retreat hosts ourselves, we understand the need for you to be able to focus on your participants, and we will work with you in advance of your stay to ensure that every detail is taken care of and that we have the equipment you need. We offer advanced printing of materials, customised gifts for your participants and an attentive but non-intrusive presence throughout your stay.

Based on the central coast in the beating heart of Vietnam, the villa is 50 minutes from Danang International Airport, and just a short bike-ride from the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage site, Hoi An old town.

Set in a beautiful secluded garden on the river-island of Cam Nam, our villa gives you a quiet sanctuary to escape the hustle and bustle, yet it’s perfectly positioned to explore the area.

The province has it all, offering you a culturally rich and diverse range of activities. From scuba diving, cooking classes and cycling through paddy-fields, to lazy beach days or exploring the architectural wonders of the ancient town, you can do as much or as little as you wish.

Whatever your interests, we can help you organise a retreat to remember. As well as local activities, we can also facilitate yoga classes, 1:1 reiki, on-site massage, various meditations and mindful activities. We also offer marketing support, source local gifts for participant welcome packs and facilitate your visit so that you can focus on your retreat.
