Retailers often use these words for Turkish-style flatwoven towels. The name alone does not establish the fibre, origin, size or construction. Check the selected item’s specification, especially if you want a flatweave rather than a terry-backed towel.
Can I use one as a bath towel?
That depends on the coverage and feel you prefer. Compare the measurements with your current bath towel and read feedback about drying after a shower. A light flatweave will feel different from a plush terry towel, even when their dimensions are similar.
How should I dry it between uses?
Spread the towel out rather than leaving it folded in a damp bundle. Follow its label for the permitted drying method, and allow enough time before putting it back in your bag. Weather, ventilation and how wet the fabric is will affect drying time.
