Facilities

Not just anyone can book a stay at this Retreat Center!

This is a privately owned retreat center designed by a well known architect by the name of Jayant Dharap. It's one of those situations where you need to know someone, who knows someone, and luckily for us Purnima is in the know! This 60 acres of natural farm land is 35 kms South of Pune perfectly perched on a hill overlooking the Mutha river near Khadakvasla lake. The Retreat Center hosts a series of buildings with individual chalets for accommodations, indoor and out door meditation centers, and plenty of pathways to meander and explore about. This magical place is such a secret that you won't find anything on the wild crazy web about it.

Purnima will guide us and explain what we are eating and what health benefits we get from each carefully chosen ingredient.

All Ayurvedic tri-dosha meals and snacks are included in this retreat. Ayurveda is based on a vegetarian diet plan.

Testimonials

Testimonials:

"Just wanted to tell you what an awesome weekend I had and how inspiring and thoughtful the time was with both of. I am just gushing with goodness and feeling very energize and healthy today!" Monica R.

"“I am still glowing from the “Feed Your Soul Winter Retreat”, hosted by Purnima and Carole. The Moongate Guest House was the perfect place to rest and be nourished by delicious food lovingly prepared by Purnima and daily yoga and meditations led so beautifully by Carole. Purnima thoroughly explained the cooking techniques and the effects of the ingredients on our physical as well as our mental and spiritual body. I have made the recipes at home and they are easy to make and so tasty! Practicing yoga while the sun was rising and meditating while the sun was setting was a magical experience. Carole used the soul reaching sound of the drum, healing vibrations of the singing bowls, and aromatherapy from doTerra Essential oils to deepen our yoga experience. We also received and were taught the procedure for Indian foot massage as well as Indian head massage, both known to have profound effects on our well being. It was such a relaxed atmosphere and the cooking, teachings, practices and activities just flowed seamlessly for one to another. I felt changed and recharged by this weekend. I can hardly wait for the next retreat! Thank you Purnima and Carole!" Sandy B.
