This Retreat has been in the making since I got my feet at Costa Rica Yoga Spa in August 2016 by their invitation.

I have been told about Nosara in Costa Rica for quite some time and, finally, made it a reality. I couldnt be more in awe of the ENERGY that surrounds this locality. Life PULSES and INVITES us to Comtemplate and LISTEN to all that is around, vibing with simplicity and pure Beauty.

Costa Rica Yoga Spa coudn’t be more perfect for hosting my Vision of Inspirantion and Empowerment. As a family owned Boutique Resort, Costa Rica Yoga Spa offers all that our Inner Goddesses, Adventurers, Warriors and Seekers have been looking for. A 360 FULL vista of Luscious jungle vibrating with LIFE that invites us to deepen our senses and pay attention to the NOW. The food is grown locally and designed to feed our bodies with the most nutritous meals that will inspire our souls to soar. The ranch where the classes and workshops are held is a work of art by itself, and the grounds are sacred and resonate with the desire to connect with our Mother Earth.

SURF is taught by Darin (when he isn’t flying around on his truck serving the community or painting bridges =p), one of very FIRST Surfer dudes in the area, inspiring MANY to become Surf Champions… The dude is kinda of a legend here! And, Nosara is Known by its Surfing quality and fun and easy swells. An almost guarantee standing up on your surf experience, if that’s your call.

YOGA is guided by me, Cristiane Machado, trained at Anamaya Resort in Costa Rica with 200 hrs and 6 years of teaching experience, plus, as a Massage Therapist and Body worker, I consider myself a great tool for self-care, self-love and self-awareness. As a curious practioner in the art of Re-awakening of our Inner Divine, with around 10 years of Experience on sharing the Beauty of life and Inspiring people to live life to its fullest, I am comited to create a safe and fun space for growth and rediscovery. With 8 Retreats under my belt I can say, with great joy, that YOU wil have the time of your life redsicovering YOU and YOUR connection with it all. To make this retreat sweeter, I invite Christy Webb aka Fairy to assit and teach a workshop on UP Side Down FUN Asanas which you can take to deepen your Yoga practice while learning fundamnets of Head stands, arm balances and more.
Christy is Human, seeker, grateful sharer of knowledge and human connections.
Professionally licensed nurse, massage therapist, and registered yoga teacher 200hr.
Her love and appreciation of wellness and fitness began at age 8 attending Jazzercise beside her mom and continued into high school taking weight lifting classes.
In her 20s, Christy began teaching group fitness classes and doing some personal training, helping others have fun, keep safe, and reach their own fitness goals.
Currently, she still enjoy exericse, freedom and fun with movement, and helping others do the same. Her approach is practical and down to earth, and realistic. I have a heart for newbies to fitness and those who need encouragement to try something new.

ZUMBA® is a Latin based workout that combines International rhythms and Tantalizing moves creating a unique experinece of awareness within the body fused with the music. No Dancing experience required. A perfect way to sweat stuff out!!!

Cacaoga® and Cacao Ceremony: Native to tropical areas of Latin America, cacao is chocolate before the processing; an unsugared, unadulterated form of one of our world’s favorite sweets. Known as a super food, cacao is high in magnesium, calcium, antioxidants, and iron–and is an incredible mood booster! One of its more potent components is anandamide, a neurotransmitter known as the bliss molecule. For those with an interest or background in yoga and/or Hindu philosophy, you may know that the word “ananda” means bliss and refers to a higher state of being. Cacao facilitates our goal of achieving that blissful state and deepening our connection to our truest selves, Mother Nature, and universal oneness. According to an indigenous myth, when the balance between humankind and nature is threatened, cacao comes from the rainforest to open our hearts and return us to harmony. For those of you who know that your connection with chocolate runs deep, we invite you to experience another dimension of that connection–a deeply spiritual or shamanic one. Ceremonial cacao partners with us, facilitating the journey inward and the discovery of our truest, highest, most love-filled selves.

During this workshop, we will learn about the history and physical makeup of cacao; its spiritual and shamanic uses; and why its addition to yoga and meditation can provide for a very transformative experience. The meditation/asana portion of the event will last approximately 1.5 hours. Time for sharing our experiences and asking questions will also be available.

Cristiane is a Mother, A Body Worker, A Dreamer, a Major Manifester and Co-Creator. She is also a Lover of all things. A Believer of the art of observation, Cristiane has developed a quite Unique approach to meditation and listening to our Inner voices. She has also started the #yogaLokaProject which is involved with bringing Yoga, meditation and Holistic Healing to Mental Illness patients sand Homeless communities.
Cristiane’s understanding of our Physical Bodies, gives her the perfect tools to Inspire and Empower Every Type of Body to move inwards and outwards. She firmly believes that our physical bodies were designed to move and that by moving through Physicality, one can achieve spirituality. She is passionate about Dance and ZUMBA is one of the ways she brings awareness and FUN into her everyday life. She has traveled with the Creator of Zumba, Beto Perez when she brought Zumba to Brasil and has worked as Zumba Jammer for 2 years also traveling around the globe.
Cristiane has been Hosting Retreats Internationally since 2009, with her First Retreat being at Anamaya resort in Montezuma Costa Rica, a Magical Blue Space of our planet, where her Desire to Empower others became Latent. Thats also where Cristiane did her 200+ Yoga Training and developed her Gentle approach to Re-teaching the body how to stay fluid, strong and confident.

**A 50% deposit is required to reserve your room. Rooms and retreat registrations are confirmed on a first come, first serve basis. A courtesy hold may be extended upon special request while you arrange payment.

***CANCELLATION Policy:
Your deposit is fully refundable only if your cancellation notice is received via email to wellnessbycristiane@gmail.com, 60 days prior to your arrival date. After 60 days no refunds will be issued. Activity cancellations require 48 hours prior notice for a full refund. We recommend you purchase traveler's insurance to cover any unexpected reasons for having to cancel your reservation at the last minute.
