Description of the Retreat

“Ashtanga Immersion” is a retreat designed to dive into this dynamic and demanding practice that requires considerable effort, perseverance and personal will.
4 days to investigate the 1st Series – Chikitsa Yoga, purification of the body-mind-emotions – and the 2nd Series – Nadi Sodhana, which cleanses the nervous system through the opening and purification of energetic channels – together with Ujjayi breathing , the key, the heart and the strength of the practice.

Teacher/Teachings

Eva started practicing Yoga in 1996. She is an authorized teacher of Ashtanga Yoga (directly from the legendary Sri K. Pattabhi Jois) and Sivananda Yoga. For 10 years she lived in the city of Mysore in order to deepen the teachings and tradition of this physically and mentally transforming discipline, and to practice under the supervision and attention of Guruji and his family.
Eva is able to inspire and guide her students, fostering an in-depth understanding of the practice of Ashtanga and its more meditative and healing aspects. She stands out for her way of assisting and helping in the personal evolution process.
With almost 20 years of practice she continues to learn and share the wisdom of Yoga in a way that reinforces and inspires, awakening a deep love and respect for practice, like the one she has, and adapting to the real needs of each practitioner, providing a unique synthesis of Yoga, Philosophy and Healing.
In her teachings she points out the importance of cultivating an attitude of coherence, humility, patience and dedication.
Deepening in the Body-Mind-Spirit connection through her daily practice, she is convinced that Yoga is the most complete exercise to maintain the body in the best condition of health and well-being and to receive and interact with the Forces of Life.

Food

At Casa Iemanja they offer Mediterranean and market cuisine, using local and seasonal produce and treating it with respect and without haste, over a low heat. The Mediterranean diet offers huge possibilities based on vegetables, rice, pasta, creams, cocas, soups, legumes, salads, often combined with herbs and spices, giving the dishes a very special and characteristic touch.
The influences of their cuisine are a mixture of what they are, finding in it features of the diversity of Spanish, Asian and other cuisines and trying to mix both traditional cuisine and the most avant-garde cuisine.
The menu is ovo-dairy-vegetarian.

Practical Information

HOW TO GET THERE

From the Palma de Mallorca Airport: Take the A32 Bus (Can Picafort - Platja Muro / Alcúdia - Aeroport) and get off at Inca (Ctra. Sineu). They pass every 60'-90 '. Find the schedules here. It's only 1 stop, 25 'way.
In Inca take a taxi to the Casa Iemanja (around 10km / € 10-15). If you inform us of the time of your arrival at the airport we can organize a collective taxi (4 people per trip).

NOTE

The climate at the end of winter can be somewhat unstable, so do not forget to bring a little bit of everything: to have tea outside with the morning cool, to sunbathe without closing your eyes, to walk in the rain, and to practice comfortably.

Bring sturdy shoes for trekking!
And your own mat (with anti-slip towel if you use)

We want to take care of our Pachamama as much as possible, so we encourage you to bring your own refillable bottle of water.
